Hi, I’m Rae – Your Photographer & Memory Keeper

I’ve always been the girl with a camera in her hands, capturing the beauty and emotion of life as it happens. Five years ago, I turned that lifelong passion into Rae Whiting Photography, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the families and individuals who have trusted me to tell their stories.

I live in Vernal, Utah, with my husband and our four amazing kids. Life is wonderfully chaotic, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me dreaming of turquoise ocean water, indulging in dessert (because it fixes almost anything), or diving into my favorite shows like Grey’s Anatomy, The Walking Dead, and Supernatural.

I’m a hot mess creative, an “introverted extrovert,” and a firm believer that online shopping is a love language. Wanderlust is my middle name, and my heart is happiest in beautiful places, whether that’s exploring new locations or documenting the connection between you and your loved ones.



My Approach to Photography

During your session, my goal is simple: to make you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself. I believe the best moments happen when you’re free to relax, laugh, and just be you. From families to maternity sessions, milestones to birth stories, I’m here to capture the magic in your everyday moments and turn them into images you’ll cherish forever.

Whether it’s a quiet, tender moment or the joyful chaos of a family session, I aim to create timeless, heartfelt images that bring you back to the love and laughter of that day every time you look at them.
